A lovely silverplate Bridal Basket by Lawrence B Smith Company, USA, circa 1920's, most likely. In good vintage condition. Measures approximately 16.5"high and 9" wide at its widest. Also, from the base to the top of the basket, it measures 9.5".

The basket is marked on bottom with LBS hallmarks and EPNS for Electroplated Nickel Silver. Also has the sorority, Gamma Sigma engraved on the front. This was my grandmother's who was born in 1900!

Use for a vessel to hold the bride's bouquet during the reception and later for a floral arrangement in one's home. This one is larger than most, so not idea for a flower girl!
