This WWII era magazine is the Official Journal of the National Rifle Association for June, 1942. It features a Filipino rifleman throwing a grenade during the Battle of Bataan which at his time had come to its tragic conclusion. While it has a a great deal about the war, it also has a lot of technical reporting about guns, sights, scopes and ammo. There is even a Key West letter and story from Ernest Hemingway about hunting! There are also ads for Remington, Dupont etc. as well as a multi-page "trading post for arms for sale and wanted, The magazine is 63 pages long and is profusely illustrated. It is in very good condition with no rips and minimal wear.Stock number SA2C-299
