Vintage from the 1950\'s Jeanette Glass, Large Clear Glass Wedding Cake Box. Gold Trim. 8 1/8\" tall. 4 5/8\" square at top. Base 3\" square. An interesting fact about the dish is it was used to serve cake at a wedding. The lid was used for a stand to make the dish look taller and more formal. If your cake was not finished the lid would keep it fresh. The larger boxes where for the bride and groom and smaller boxes were for guest. See second photo. 8 1/8\" to top of finial. Top is 4 5/8\" square. Base is 3\" square.
