Selling for a lady whose husband owned this, Said purchased it San Francisco document manuscript historical area of a bookshop back in the 1960s he has now since passed and she is selling it,

1900’s copy re-printing of the actual original Constitution of the United States, reproduced by the Albertype company, sometime early in the 1900s..

They were then a famous company for reproducing famous documents.. but unfortunately now are out of business closing in 1952

Approximate size is 15 1/2 inches long and 13 inches wide

The Albertype Co. Brooklyn New York,Produced historical memorabilia documents from 1890 -1952, which is when they went out of business..

Has tie string binding, which is what the Albertype company used in the early part of the 20th century

Good stock carboard was used the documents and the pictures..

Front is in fair condition stains marks pleaee see pics..

none of the pages are joined together binding is loose, But does have the necessary holes, it could be

reattached if you are someone who knows how to do that..

back cover in very good condition… quite white and clean..

From research it shows this company went out of business in 1952, and printed many different genres… postcards documents, historical paper etc.

The wax paper that separates most of the pages and the two pictures is in very good/Excellent condition

The two pictures of Washington and Jefferson are in very good/excellent condition They have been protected by the wax paper..They have the reddish-brown tone, which is very typical representational of the Albertype co. vintage productions

The last picture shows the brown paper over there picture of George Washington, there are several pieces of brown paper all through the document copy in between the pages and another one on top of Jefferson..
