VTG SHIBATA Japan Tall Painted Abstract Splatter Design Vase 10.5” H.

This is a very unique Asian, made in Japan by SHIBATA, abstract splatter-technique painted tall porcelain vase in shades of burnt orange, gray, brown and white. The base top is molded and glazed white, adding dimension to the piece. This is quite a deviation from traditional Asian and Japanese vases of the mid-century where they feature bright colors and images of people. However, this is a beautiful vase in its uniqueness. Very good vintage condition, no chips, cracks or scratches, and the only thing I can see are a few very tiny, what look to be paint dots, on the white rim at the top, but it is not a condition issue. This is marked with SHIBATA Japan and a logo on the bottom. Measures 10.75” H x 4” W.
