This beautiful Lladro figurine, model number 5139, depicts a father showing his little girl how to build a dollhouse or at least letting her help him build it. It pulls as my heartstrings. Long ago when I was as young as the little girl depicted here, I was always at my dad's elbow as he was working. When he wasn't working on something, I always said to him, "Dad, what can we build, what can we paint?". This figurine brings all those memories and emotions flooding back in my mind.. Sweet memories.

This figurine was Made in Spain in 1982 and retired, as I understand it, in 1985. This fine porcelain figurine will be a wonderful addition to any collection. The glossy finish and handmade details make this piece truly special.
