This elegant statement of cutting edge design brings to mind my first Bang & Olfsen AM/FM radio receiver purchased in the early 1970s. A heavy top on full piano hinge is machined of thick aluminum stock with a satin brushed finish. The canted front edge overhangs a beautifully grained solid walnut case. The well is divided at center with an aluminum bar separating Kaiser | Aluminum. Other examples are out there - none in this condition.Please study the photographs for details.
