Description: Copied from an early American tall case clock found in the Henry Ford Museum made by famed clockmaker Thomas Harland from Norwich. Clock features a hood bonnet that has a broken pediment ending in inlaid circles with three brass spiral finials, dial door flanked by fluted columns with brass caps, rope inlay surrounds the dial door, dial has four corner fans, moon dial, signed dial Thomas Harland Norwich, case has several circular rope inlays with flanking fluted columns with brass caps supported by French feet. Case door opens to show brass plaque with Slight American Life Collection, Henry Ford Museum & Greenfield Village #1252. Clock includes weights, pendulum, key and winder. Very limited production clock and very high end.
Condition Report: Very Good Condition with some light scuffs and scratches, a beautiful showpiece. The clock has not been tested and we do not guarantee the working conditions of clocks and highly recommend hiring a professional clock person to clean, service and install the clock after delivery.
