RARE! Pre-Prohibition 1916 RAINIER BEER PAPER LABEL BEER BOTTLE Pan Pacific Expo SF, CAL w/ Re-sealer Cap
Extremely rare larger 21 ounce Rainier Pale Beer paper label bottle with re-sealer cap that dates to 1916 - 1917. It has the Panama-Pacific International Exhibition Highest Award neck label associated with the event held in SF during 1915. The San Francisco Rainier Brewery had just opened after Washington state voted for prohibition in 1914. The SF plant had a short run, though, and ceased brewing in 1920 (national prohibition).
Very rare... we couldn't find a single similar Pale Beer paper label Pre Pro 21 ounce SF brewery example from this era selling online over the past 20 years. Will probably be a very long time before another one comes up. Would be a great addition to a collection.. yada yada .. is an understatement!

SELLER NOTES:"Good" condition for antique age. Main label is mostly intact with 1" x 1/4" piece missing in bottom corner. Bottle sweat staining and age-related darkening on the main label. Neck label is missing a third. Award medal part of the neck label has darkened but is still legible. No chips or cracks in glass. As found with cork at mouth and re-sealer bottle cap.
