I bought this on years ago but had to cut it because it tangled with another necklace and I couldn't get it off! I sent it to an artisan jewelry-maker (who specializes in Asian knots I can't pronounce) to restring it and he returned this incredibly beautiful 8-strand necklace offered in this listing. He added tiny sterling silver and gold beads for extra sparkle!

This spectacular Pema Raka bead was used over and over for medicinal purposes, as is clear by the gouging and shaving visible on its surface. A treasure from the ancient Tibetan/Nepali past!
