This is a Mid Century Modern 1960s model -L47 oil lamp made in Sweden by Markaryo and designed by Hans-Agne Jakobsson. The lamp is in as found condition with excellent patina on the brass, but can be polished and buffed to a high brass shiny finish. The lamp is very rare and hard to find and will definitely be a trophy in your collection. This lamp is listed on high end sites throughout the world for over $1600. The yellow glass globe is an excellent condition with no cracks, chips or scratches. The lamp measures 12 1/4 inches tall by 6 inch diameter of the globe. The yellow globe is 7 5/8 inches tall. The brass base is 4 7/8 inches in diameter and the entire Lamp weighs 2.5 pounds.
