I am reluctant to use the word "perfect" for a fountain pen made 75 years ago, but this one looks like it just rolled off the production line. It is gorgeous. And the nib is also new, never inked. Esterbrook didn't make many flexible nibs.

The leveris nice and springy. The bladder is soft and supple.This pen is guaranteed to write.
