The original of this sign has attracted a considerable amount of attention over the years due to its unusual wording. The choice of \"other Desert Cities\" as a destination seems to indicate the original designer harbored some bizarre aversion toward acknowledging the existence of Phoenix, Arizona, the next major city along I-10 from this point.

An original of these can be found bolted to a truss above five lanes of traffic. You\'re not getting it down anytime soon. Not only that, but it would be a herculean effort to transport; it\'s seventeen and a half feet wide. We\'ve scaled it down for more wieldy display, so here is your chance to own an excellent conversation piece, without chancing legal trouble... or a hernia.
