This great Victorian era souvenir of Seattle might have been created for the the Alaska, Yukon Pacific Exhibition in Seattle in 1909 but It does not mention it in all its detailed decoration. It features a couple of great harbor scenes with square rigged sailing ships and steamers as well as a fine view of Mt. Rainier, portraits of Chief Seattle and his daughter Princess Angeline and finally a totem pole that might be the one in Seattle's Pioneer Square. It is heavily made for its size and is probably Spelter with a bronze patina and gold washes to highlight scenes. It is 3 3/8" tall and 2 1/4" in diameter at the lip. I think it dates to the early years of the 20th c.Stock Number SA2B-424
