The \"Year 2000 Problem\" was an expected disruption that would occur beginning January 1, 2000, due to computer programming flaws related to the millennium change. See the Wikipedia entry for more details. This newspaper issue published in Birmingham, Alabama, reflects these concerns in the first section, as well as looking back at the 20th century and forward to the future. The issue also included other news, a sports section, an arts and entertainment section, classified ads and a television supplement. The Post-Herald was a daily newspaper with roots stretching back into the 19th century, but did not last long into the 21st, publishing its final edition on September 23, 2005. This copy is in excellent condiiton.
