Antique Bavarian Porcelain Large Floral Serving Bowl:

This early 1900's porcelain serving bowl was made in Bavaria, Germany. The beautiful rose transfer pattern includes the colors green, shades of pink, yellow, and splashes of light blue. There is gold accenting the curves of the porcelain molding. Some of the gold accents have worn a bit. The decorative molding design is incredible! They don't make them like they used to! The top outer rim of the bowl is scalloped. The roses even have raised porcelain to better define some of the petals. (See pics). The center gold decoration has faded. There are no maker's marks on the back. The bowl measures 10" in diameter at its widest and 2 1/2" tall. Given that this is made of porcelain, there is a good weight to it. It has a high gloss inside and out. There are no chips, cracks, or crazing. It is in great condition.
