I have this bowie knife for over 30 years. It is back stock that I decided to sell. I purchased it from the mountain man who made it. The sheath is alligator with wool backing and trimmed with beading and a turquoise stone. The sheath measures 13"lg x 2.5"w. Theblade is 9.5"lg x 1.5"w. The handle is bone (elk) trimmed in alligator is 5"lg x 1.5"w. There is a buffalo nickel coin fastened to theknife. The full knife with the sheath is 18in long.
