Hello dear customers on your consideration is a rare circa 1890-1900 Louis Armand Rault French jewelry box. Solid cast brass box with silver-plated finish. Featuring hunting motifs medallions at all sides with different wild animals. Footed box with hinged lid, richly ornate on the lid and on feet - flowers on lid and oak leafs with acorns on feet. Inside is partially gilded and lined with silk and tufted on bottom inside. Featuring Shield of St.Mihiel, France, on the lid.Artist signed with monograms at all sides LR-Louis Armand Rault.
The box is in excellent condition with some mellow patina on silver. Found on estate sale in Paris.
