One of the rarer GAR medals are these National Encampment badges from the last days of the GAR. This one is the standard National Representatives badge. It has an eagle with the cross canons at the top and then a medallion suspended from the eagle with the likeness of Commander-in-Chief George A. Gay. The gold ribbon reads Representative 76th National Encampment Grand Army of the Republic Indianapolis September 13-18 1942. This is in excellent condition with just a little fading on the ribbon. A wonderful piece and hard to find!
