I am pleased to offer for sale these Renaissance buttons as part of my collection of discoveries over the years. These buttons were found in an old case, as shown in the photos, inside a trunk with period clothing, possibly belonging to a beautiful young woman who arrived in the early migrations. I imagine the tenderness and elegance with which she might have worn them. Each button is embroidered with fine silk threads and adorned with a delicate chain of golden bronze, dating back to the 15th and 16th centuries and measuring approximately 2.5 cm (about 1 inch).
