These are brand new patches designed and worn by the International Security Assistance Force, Special Operation Forces (ISAF SOF) that served in Afghanistan from over 26 nations. I've included a photograph with the actual ISAF SOF patch which provides perspective. The original patch was made by a local tailor in Kabul, Afghanistan. The ISAF SOF patch has a black background with a raised sliver forefront with a sword embedded into mountains and the letters/word "ISAF SOF" and "Afghanistan"; the patch has a Velcro backing. I provided a couple of documents; ISAF SOF Laydown and ISAF SOF Strength that are both open source documents ([link removed by ]); I thought many of you would find it of interest to see how many other countries were involved in ISAF SOF.
