Pre-1970s Cotton Yukata Kimono - Blue Bamboo Shibori Pattern. The dye is printed, not handmade shibori. Purchased in Japan before 1970. Date otherwise unknown unless stated. Spectacular condition; they've been folded and in storage since their arrival in the US in approximately 1970 but may have minimal wear and tear and/or stains due to their age.

These Kimono are from the estate collection of a family friend--she's the original owner of this collection. Born in Japan, she was a lovely fashion model in the 70s/80s, a world traveler, businesswoman and avid collector. She found home in her later years in beautiful Colorado. She had an eclectic style and it's time to share with the world.
