This is a super early image from Vanity Fair magazine! January 4th 1894 was… like, a really long time ago. I think about 1994 and that's a frighteningly long time ago already, so add a hundred years onto that.
This is an image depicting the Grand Duke Michael Mikhailovich of Russia treating himself to a nice game of Tennis. Maybe Badminton? I dunno, I don't sports. What I do know is that when I looked him up on Wikipedia it says he was "a disappointment to his mother" and that she "referred to him as stupid" which, wow. Mom of the year award, right there. You should really dig into that Wikipedia page though, trust me. A real gong show, let me tell you.
But hey, he got to play a lot of golf and tennis/badminton and stuff! Winning? I think so.
Measures 47cm x 34.6cm x 2cm
