In vintage 1997 pre-owned used condition. Works great! Tested, see youtube video linked below. The street light lantern broke, I have the piece and I'll ship it as well so you can glue it yourself. The train goes around but you have to put it on the track "JUST RIGHT" so it will catch. I actually had to put the train lined up with the conductor and push the train backwards ever so slightly so it would catch properly. I do NOT have the plug in adapter. It does take 4 C batteries NOT included. Please see all pics and video linked below.
