• In looking up the French interpretation of the perfume name on the web and it means literally, “heart joy” or throwing oneself in enthusiastically.    
  • The condition of the light pink silk box edged in gold is fair.  It has some dirt and damage on the box including what looks like a perfume stain on the top of the box.
  • On the interior of the box lid, in the center is a huge glob of wax, which someone may have placed here to help keep the bottle in place.  There is also a small amount on the left edge. 
  • The gold name is written in script and is in good condition.  See picture 5.
• The bottle is housed in a white taffeta that seems to be in good condition.
• The bottle is crystal frosted and clear. 
  • The bottle is heart shaped with an opening in the center.  The front is frosted with embossed flowers going up and down each side.
  • The stopper is a rounded-like stopper with the same design as the bottle.
  • There is gold cording around the neck and I do not believe bottle has ever been opened, as the backside shows the cording still in place.’
  • Due to the age, if you able to open the bottle, fragrance is not guaranteed due to the age. 
  • The bottle underside is covered with a gold paper label which reads: 
    • Net ½ Fl Oz USA dist.
    • Jacqueline Cochran Inc.
    • NY NY  10020
  • Note:  Jacqueline Cochran labels were on the bottles from 1968 to 1987.  She was the sole distributor of Nina Ricci in the United States.
  • Also, the underside is covered with the gold label, but the bottle is polished on the underside and I can see Nina Ricci on the top and probably Lalique below that.  (I do not want to remove the gold label, will let the new owner if they desire.)
• In rubbing the edge of the stopper, I felt a small rough spot, so there may be a minor flake.  Otherwise, the bottle is in great condition.
• Height of the bottle is about:  3 3/8 inches tall. 
• Lastly there is a paper brochure that tells you how to open the bottle, see last two photos.
