The most adorable little porcelain red fox made by Beswick Pottery in England. Delicate, life-like features packed into a 2 7/8" tall figurine. It was created between 1955 - 1972.John Beswick Ltd, formerlyJ. W. Beswick, was a pottery manufacturer, founded in 1894 by James Wright Beswick and his sons John and Gilbert inLongton, Stoke-on-Trent.In 1969, the business was sold to Doulton& Co., Ltd.The factory closed in 2002 and the brand John Beswick was sold in 2004. The pottery was chiefly known for producing high-qualityporcelainfigurines such as farm animals.
