A very unique opportunity to purchase a 'never before sold' vintage medal featuring St. Benedict, patron of speleologists, agricultural workers and civil engineers. 4grams. 3/4 inch in diameter. Medal by Becker and struck at the Adolphe Penin foundry in Lyon France. This medal is silver and possibly three other alloys. From the unsold inventory of The Catholic Art Store in business from 1906 to 1962 in San Francisco specializing in imported Sterling and silver medals and medallions from France. This medal is actually an antique and is between 60 and 113 years old. It has never been owned or worn by anyone. Please take a look at my other offerings.
