This is a General Electric Co. Ltd model K7820 wall mounted "battery call telephone" (intercom system) that dates to the the early 1930s. It is in excellent original condition. This well known Instrument ranks as the pioneer of Battery Ringing Telephones. It consists of Hunningscone-Deckert Granular Transmitter, Induction Coil, Double Pole Watch Receiver, Call Bell, Ringing key and Automatic Switch Hook. Wood work of solid well seasoned Polished Walnut and all exterior Metal parts. Can be used on lines up to half a mile in length.
