This listing for asample of partially processed, unsorted diatomite (the exact details are in the listing title). Each sample has been soaked inhot water and then put through10 freeze thaw cycles to break it down. Further work is needed to properly break down the samples to free and clean the diatoms. We have not done chemical prep on the samples (i.e no HCl treatment) and additional cycles will probably be useful, as could be some minormaceration.
