This is a vintage Black lacquer Cross Townsend Roller ball pen with 23 karat gold trim. Made in the U.S.A. The Caterpillar construction equipment company logo adorns the flange “CAT”.

This pen originates back in the 1990’s. It was most likely given to a company executive or a very special customer. Either way, it’s a spectacular writing instrument. This pen was rescued - discovered in Chicago at an estate sale. It appears that the previous owner took good care of this pen. And were glad he/she did. It will come with a new Cross black ink cartridge.
