Large antique metal statue.
France, circa 1900.
This is a PRETTY and ANTIQUE white metal sculpture, depicting a standing angel ( Cherub/ putti ) smiling and holding a bow ( lovers ).
A very nice quality piece, a nice pose, winged angel.
Resting on a dark green and white marble base, titled on a bronze plaque VICI Par Aug. Moreau , Mlle D or.
With a round brass plaque on the back can read : Fabrication Française Paris .
Auguste Louis Moreau ( French artist 1834 - 1917 ).
Engraved number on the marble 9- 604.
Likely 1909 ( year ) 604 ( inventory number ).
Bow also stamped New York.
