This is a nice group of PATRIOTIC antique postcards from the very early 1900s. They were published for GREETINGS as well as BEST WISHES, and they could have been used for Fourth Of July celebrations. These are postcards that have a MILITARY THEME and show scenes from World War I. The postcards are meaningful as well as historical. They are flat printed, and two of them use the PHOTO STYLE.

The postcards have interesting and patriotic meaning. One shows General Parsnip and his message. Another is a photo of the French trenches built in the battle area. Then there is a drawing of a soldier smoking a pipe with the title being, "Camp Fire Reveries". In addition, there is a photo postcard showing the "American troops in parade - Paris, 4th of July 1918". This was an A.P. (Associated Press) postcard, and the publisher was the American Red Cross, which has its logo on the back. The Pershing postcard was sent through "Soldier Mail". This is a nice and meaningful military and patriotic group of postcards.

These arecollector itemsbecause of their age, their design and historical significance, and their overall appeal to those collecting Patriotic antique postcards. They also have a nice glimpse of life back in that era.

The postcards are UNPOSTED (3) and POSTED (1) with a cancel date of 1918. These postcards have DIVIDED backs. These postcards were "Made in USA".

These are BETTER POSTCARD and good for a collector.The postcards will keep their value! They are sleeved and in good condition. However, please expect some creases, cuts, stains, paper toning, and edge wear due to their age (over 100 years old!).The photos show the postcards and their backs.
