This is our yearly little Junkyard wall calendar we do every year for the shop featuring the fantastic artwork of Dale Klee. Each month is a different scene that all vintage car aficionados will love, see pics. Size is 11x17 when open.

A word from the artist:

Many of the images in this year's calendar are from an earlier time when I would travel back roads of Wisconsin and Michigan acquiring barn wood for small vignette paintings and picture frames. A Ford Coupe in a shed or an abandoned Chevy in a barn would always make me stop for photographs and sketches.

As a teenager, I worked under old cars at my father's gas station. Years later, this knowledge suspensions and drivelines helped me paint convincing scenes featuring old relics. "Old Car Guys” seem to sense that a car has to "sit right," even as it decays into the earth.

I like country roads in autumn and dark meandering streams in winter. When I am able to paint old cars in quiet country settings I am combining two things I really love. It seems to have worked for forty years since I have not gotten that "real job" my father urged me to find. I hope these images stir some memories who happen upon this calendar.
