This lot is the vintage magic trick Dermo-Optical Perception (DOP) produced by Jack Dean's Stagecraft. In the trick, The performer briefly mentions dermo-optical perception and proposes a demonstration as he shows five pieces of different colored cardboard. These are folded within silver foil paper packets by a volunteer and mixed, while the performer puts on a pair of surgical rubber gloves. One by one, the performer takes a packet, scans over it with his gloved fingertips, and correctly identifies the color of the foil paper wrapped cardboard.

This trick is complete with five gimmicked colored cardboard squares, a chart of the different gimmicks, foil wrapper, a small fingertip magnet, a pair of rubber gloves, and instructions. NOTE: While the gloves appear fully functional, this trick has been in storage for many years, so the rubber may have become weak and they may tear. The gloves are designed to be replaced easily from any grocery store. Also, the instructions share information about replacing the sticky substance on the magnet if it doesn't stay on the fingertip.
