This is an original 1871 Register and Circular for the Spring and Summer terms at State Normal School at Salem, Massachusetts. 12 page pamphlet contains list of instructors and students as well as admission requirements and regulations. Salem Normal School began in 1854 as a teaching school for girls. In 1898, it became coeducational and is now known as Salem State University.
Note that there is discoloration on front and back covers. Also has a slight vertical crease in the middle. Otherwise excellent shape for a document of its age. See pics for details of condition.
