This vintage 1961 Kahiki Supper Club Columbus, Ohio ashtray is a unique piece that will add character to any collection. The handmade by Marcy Sapp (Bill Sapp’s Wife) design features a Hawaiian culture theme, making it a great addition to any Hawaiian or Tiki enthusiast's collection. The provenance of this item is not available, but it is clear that it was manufactured in the United States. This ashtray is perfect for anyone who appreciates the artistry of handmade items and the rich culture of Hawaiian music and dance.

This piece was made by Marcy Sapp, Bill Sapp’s wife, and she used a pencil eraser to make the round dots. This piece is super rare, made when the Kahiki Hut opened in Columbus, Ohio in 1961, after the Grass Shack burned in 1957. Lee Henry and Bill Sapp open this restaurant which became the largest Polynesian Tiki Hut in the United States. But, too, it could be used as a change or catch all bowl. Of course, it is a beautiful display piece. It is actually in very good condition now 63 years old.
