I was so excited when I found this in a small thrift shop in Dagsboro Delaware. This is at handmade box… You can tell because some of the wood is pulling away from the base. I didn’t repair it because the opening that would’ve been too tight. I think it was made this way actually.there are boreholes in the back that was to let the steam out when you made fresh bread and you stored it in that box. So excited and the painting is just amazing such detail and so colorful. Truly a great and would look amazing and someone’s country kitchen.
