Vintage CAMILLUS Stockman -- Rare Collectable 4-Line Stamp -- Made in 1930s:

• This is a very rare CAMILLUS stockman with a four-line stamp that dates it to the 1930s. It is nearly 4" long closed and has a 3" long Clip Point main blade that still has good snap and no wobble. The second blade is 2" long and the third blade has been sharpened down to .8". It has a BRASS LINERand NICKEL SILVER BOLSTERSwith a few small dents.

• The brown swirl pattern SHELL HANDLESare in very good condition with no chips or cracks but they do have a few small dents. Please see the pictures. It has not been cleaned or sharpened by me and is in as-found condition.

• The tang on the main blade is stamped CAMILLUS over CUTLERY CO. over CAMILLUS N.Y. over U.S.A. which means this knife was likely made in the 1930s and definitely before 1943 when Camillus shifted its production to the military and WW2. The second and third blades are not original and have worn markings indicating they came from BRIDGE CUTLERY CO. which was a Shapleigh brand that was based in St. Louis that operated from 1902 to 1939.
