This is an authentic Griswold No 34 Swedish Plett pancakepan that was manufactured at the Griswold plant in Erie, PA. for Western Importing Co.. Western Importing Co was created after the collapse of the Alfred Andersend co in 1913. This one dates from 1913-1913s 1910's and is in excellent restored condition. A very nice example at over110+ years old. These older Plett pans do not show up that often and are gettingmuch harder to find. Beware, almost of these pans listed on weremanufactured by Wagner Ware's Sidney OH plant sometime in the 1960s. No chips,cracks repairs.

This item is from an old collection and was cleaned andseasoned, then stored for many years. Because item was stored for many years,there may be spots of light surface rust. This can generally be washedaway then re-seasoned before use. This item is photographed in verybright light to highlight fine details. Under these lighting conditions, itemmay take on a brown color.
