Devonian, Cashaquashale, Moscow formation.Size - 115mm x 88mm x 62mm
This unique piece has both coiled and straight shelled cephalopods with their original shells preserved. Some of the Bactrites shells are hollow, and contain needle sharp Dogtooth Calcite crystals.
A beautiful specimen of a rare Devonian Cephalopod death slab from New York State. None of this rare material is availableanywhere to the collector. This has been in my personal collection for many years, and it now time to share.I believethis to be an exceptionalspecimen worthy of any collection.
