DID A TEST WITH MY METER AND IT SEEMS TO HAVE A POSTIVE GROUND BUT I MAY BE WRONG hooking a meter to the positive post and the mounting brass screws on the back are in connection with the post ??? scuffs and scratches dirty use marksit does have a aluminum housing non Metalica the reading i did says they were both 6 and 12 volt systems
