Offered is an original United States Army property World War One era production slide manufactured for use with the Colt Model 1911 service pistol. This Colt slide is U.S. Army marked and bears all of the other correct markings associated with World War One era Colt M1911s. This rare slide has never been refinished and most of its original finish has turned to patina. It is offered as pictured and is a rare original and untouched part that would be a great candidate for restoration.
