This comic book is a must-have for any Terry Moore fan or collector of US Comics.Terry Moore is an American cartoonist, born in Texas (1954). Though he grew up in the Southern United States; he also lived in Africa and England. While he and his parents were living in Africa, his younger sister was born. The greatest career influence for this young person was the strip "Peanuts'" created by Charles Schulz; whereby, he began drawing in sketchbooks when he was eight and later (when he was thirteen), he learned to play the electric guitar. Years later, while working as a musician, Moore met and married his wife. With a wife and deciding to start a family, he took a more stable job as a video editor. This background slid him into cartooning. Each rung on the ladder to success led to a revelation with the advent of the independent comic creators (Dave Sim, Jeff Smith, Darak Horse Comics and Image). Moore decided to self-publish his brain child (Strangers in Paradise) through his own Houston-based Abstract Studio imprint. Though he is most well known because of that series (Strangers in Paradise); he has also worked on Rachel Rising & the founding of Homage Comics. His work has won him recognition in the comics industry, including the Eisner Award for Best Serialized Story in 1996 for Strangers in Paradise #1–8 (collected into a trade paperback "I Dream of You"). He has, also, written and drawn the covers for all five issues of Marvel Comics's "Spider-Man Loves Mary Jane" vol. 2 (2008) and he began writing "Runaways" vol. 2 (2009) running for nine issues. His next self-published series, "Echo" (March 5, 2008) ran for 30 issues (June 2011). He followed that up with a 42-issue run on "Rachel Rising" (August 2011 ), a horror comic which won hin the 2014 Harvey Award for Best Lettering; 2015 award for Best CartoonistIt; and was nominated for an Eisner Award in the categories Best Continuing Series (2012), Best Writer/Artist (2012, 2014), and Best Letterer (2014). His next book, "Motor Girl", ran for 10 issues (November 2016 - November 2017).
