This is a hard-to-find original, new and unused 17” Bethany Lowe designed Victorian-style Santa Claus or Father Christmas. Bethany Lowe designs are very collectible and collect value as time goes on. This is due in part to the originality and quality of her designs, as well as the demand for them, and the limited supply. Many of her pieces have limited production and become retired early. This is one of those pieces.

My photos can show this marvelous Santa better than I can describe him; please see all the photos to get an idea of how detailed and grand he is! I bought this one year before it was retired but I never had a chance to display it. He is new but never came with a box. He is in mint condition. I especially love his fleecy, thick beard and the expressive face he has. He looks animated as if he were about to bring his Christmas presents into someone lucky child’s home, as he carries a snowy flocked tree aloft, and a marionette on his other hand, as well as a tin horn tucked into his belt. This piece is a wonderful addition to a holiday collection.
