This is a original hand paintedTsongkhapa TibetanThangka painting.Tsongkhapa was an influential Tibetan Buddhist monk,philosopher and tantric yogi, whose activities led to the formation of theGelug school of Tibetan Buddhism. He is also known by his ordained name LosangDrakpa or simply as "Je Rinpoche". He is also known by Chinese asZongkapa Lobsang Zhaba or Zongkaba. He is the center of the Gelugpa sect thatwas dominant in Tibet until the Chinese takeover in 1951, and whose de factoleader is the Dalai Lama.
