Mexican Oaxacan La Union Tejalapam Folk Art. Vintage older 1960s to 1970s likely Santiago Family hand carved wood polychrome Alebrije Animalito Giraffe sculpture, statue, figure. Aniline dyed orange ground with hand painted black detail. Unmarked, unsigned, remnants of an old \"MADE IN MEXICO\" tag similar to those which can be found on many of the other animal carvings we currently have listed. In VG+ vintage condition with light signs of age and wear, significant fading to aniline dyed surfaces. Displays beautifully. Measures approximately 10 inches long, 8 inches tall, and 4 inches wide. Weighs approximately 1/2 lb. Will weigh between 1 and 2 lbs packaged.More pics upon request. We\'ll be happy to answer any questions you might have about this item.
