Lucky for you that I am a "scrap hound" digging up the most obscure and colorful stuff from the past.
This is a lot of 2:1) Full page magazine article on an undercover police lady from the later 1960s in Wash D.C. and lo: she's walking pasta legitimate "Broadway" styled inner city theatre with the splashy and alluring "Jewel Box Revue" playing (THREE shows daily no less. 4:30 in the afternoon is way to early for something this fabulous? LOL ) !
2) A small 2 inch ad clipped from the newspaper for the said Revue playing small dunk in the middle of "blue collar" Long Island in the late 1960s . You can be sure there were LOTS of firemen and off duty cops in the audience (and yeah, ok, their wives).
Two fabulous and hard to find tidbits from Drag History in the days when this would get you arrested.( I cannot help but think - was Kenny Kerr part of this show ? )
