German Copy M 65 Field Jacket REDUCED:

Copy of US M 65 jacket in a slightly lighter olive green and no trace of labels. I say copy due to no evidence of labels ever sewn in. The only insignia are stencils “MARINE “ over left pocket and “JO. P. CP “ over the right. It is the initials of a German Navy sailor named: Joachim P. Christian-Peter. He was a member of a German Kampfschwimmer Kompanie who had done some exchange time with US SEALs. Acquired while I was assigned to USEUCOM in the late 1990s.
Size: 22 inches across chest, 29 inches collar to cuff.
