Description:

This beautiful rare 18th century Turkish ottoman embroidery has exotic flowers tossed throughout the composition with branches with small white flowers growing out of the branches. The background fabric is a very finely woven linen with the silk embroidery almost entirely covering the base fabric. The colors are in rose, soft orange, creme, pale green, rust and dark gray metallic yarn. Wonderful for framing and to cherish with love once again! See photos for reference

46 inches in Length by 20 inches in Width

Condition:

This is an early embroidery, as such , there are several areas which are “opened” , the original embroidery has been backed by an old red cotton fabric to give the piece a bit more structure. Incredibly beautiful!
