Based on the marks and history of Limoges back stamps it’s possible this was decorated in the United States, probably in New York. The white porcelain plate would’ve certainly have come from France.

This amazing plate is in very good condition with pretty pale sea foam green rim, beautiful flowers with hand painted accents and gold decorations and trim.

This is a very old plate and as such shows a little wear.

The porcelain plate was made by Coiffe Limoges of Limoges, France between 1891 and 1914 when they used this green star mark with FRANCE underneath. The LS & S mark is the name of the decorator and importer Lazarus Straus and Sons of New York (1895-1927).

No cracks or repairs. There is a small chip in the porcelain on the backside. I show it in the photographs.
